Refurbished Systems

Siemens refurbishes used medical systems and markets them under the "Proven Excellence" quality seal. Most of the systems come from upgrade programs with Siemens Healthcare customers. Refurbished sytems are an example of efficient use of resources. They are saved by extending the lifecycle of a product. Compared to the production of new medical systems, energy savings of 3.000 three person households are achieved which corresponds to savings of 10.400 tons CO2 per year.
