HALOSTAR STARLITE from Osram

Halogen lamps from OSRAM have outstanding light quality and a long service life, and they are also extremely environmentally friendly. The Halostar Starlite from Osram is a free-burning halogen lamp, which means it can be used in unshielded luminaires. The lamp has a bright dot of light and an average service life of 4,000 hours. The Japanese satellite manufacturer Melco will begin using the Halostar Starlite in special cameras for its communication and measurement satellites, since this halogen lamp is the only one that has passed tests for use in space.
