A control system and security equipment for high-speed light rail service in Krakow

I&S will install a control system and security equipment in a light-rail tunnel in Krakow. The tunnel connects the northern part of the city with the southern districts. The project includes fire protection equipment, alarm systems, camera surveillance technology and a communication system for emergencies and service work. In addition to controlling and monitoring traffic, the system is expected to increase the efficiency of public transport and reduce travel times. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2008.
