Factory Automation/INTERKAMA+ 2007 exhibition was held from April 16 to April 20 in Hannover.

As over past few years, Siemens presence at the Hannover Fair 2007 is running under the motto “Increase your productivity”. At the Hannover Fair/Interkama+ 2007 Siemens presented a range of their innovative products, systems, solutions, and services.

By tradition Siemens stand was the largest and was very interesting. The stand included the following sub-units.

1. Mechanical and electrical drive systems: conveyor technology, customer specific drives, engineering of drives, geared motors, industrial gear units, large drives, motion control, and standard drives.
2. Industry suites: chemicals, food and beverage, machine building, oil and gas. The industry suites comprised graphic examples and large exhibits that are supplemented by presentations on subjects of relevance to customers.
3. Products and systems: products and systems ranging from power units, drives and sensors through to controllers and HMIs.
4. Special presentations: process automation with the new SIMATIC PCS 7 Version 7, industrial communication from Siemens, digital engineering with the SIMATIC Automation Designer
5. Siemens Automation Solution Partner Program.
