On April 6, 2006 in the Republican Palace there was an awarding ceremony of the IV contest for the best Internet-resource "Internet-prize" "TIBO-2006" winners. The official web-site of Siemens Representative Office in Belarus www.siemens.by took the second place in the nomination Corporate sites of Belarusian participants of TIBO.
Web-site www.siemens.by is being developed by just 3 persons: the author of the materials Anna Krasulina, translator Dmitry Dudal and web-designer and programmer Pavel Zakervashevich, to whom, to all appearances, belongs the main merit. Dmitry and Pavel are the 4th year students, who had their summer practice in the Representative Office and showed themselves so good, that top-managers decided to propose them further working for the company. They develop the site during the time free from their studies. Siemens has always positioned itself as a creative group of young, talented and ambitious. The second place in the contest of Internet portals among the large number of serious candidates proves the propriety of Siemens strategy to count on youth. The wisdom of the top-managers in the selection of employees and courageous decision to entrust company’s site to them were estimated at their true worth. Ahead was only the official web-site of Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) www.mts.by, which was developed by the foreign specialized company.
From the name of the creators of Siemens Representative Office in Belarus official web-site we thank the jury for a high appreciation of our work, and also we express our thanks to the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus for the conducting of Internet resources contest. Taking into account, that in the existing conditions only Internet satisfies the needs of the society in the active receiving of the relevant and trustworthy information, presented from the different points of views, the support from the side of Ministry of Information acquires special significance.
