In the framework of the cooperation agreement and education support program Generation 21 Siemens, by its partner Sitek, has passed to BNTU 5 portable computers and 5 specially equipped SinuTrain training places free of charge.
SinuTrain is a bundled software for training of technological programming of CNC systems.
The main purpose of the bundled training SinuTrain software is the effective training of qualified technological programmers and operators for the work on modern machines (lathes, milling machines, machining centers etc.) with the minimal costs. SinuTrain is built on the basis of standard software of CNC systems SINUMERIK, which allows unifying the study process by its maximum approach to the real machining facilities.
Built-in contour numerator provides the possibility of construction of compound contour lines and the real-time simulation of part cutting allows not only to provide the study process by the software control means, but also gives possibility to check the complete programs before their machining.
SinuTrain has both standard settings for different configurations of machining facilities, and the possibility of simple creation of new configurations under the exact machine types.
Except training in programming in the ISO-7bit (DIN 66025) codes SinuTrain provides the possibility of training in programming in the popular packages of workshop programming, such as ShopMill, ShopTurn, ManualTurn.
SinuTrain is applied for training at numerous plants (for example, BMW, Opel), colleges and universities in many countries of the world.
The new BNTU training classroom represents 5 working places united into wireless network and connected with the instructor’s training place. Students and instructors of the leading technical university in Belarus have a good chance to master the innovative equipment in their own Alma mater.
