We see ourselves as a good corporate citizen, a respected member of society in all 190 countries where we do business – that is, in practically every part of the world. In the course of our activities, we encounter a great variety of challenges and expectations regarding business, society and the environment. Nonetheless, the concrete projects we implement at the local level are in line with certain overriding priorities. Our top priority is fostering education.
Our worldwide Generation 21 education program provides support for students at schools and universities. Activities range from organizing school competitions, providing teaching materials and cooperating with partner schools to supporting universities in many countries around the world.
– Because knowledge is the bridge on the road to the future in the 21st century. At Siemens, the future means: unleashing innovation, linking expertise, learning and cooperation, and thinking and acting globally. To ensure that this vision becomes reality, we are honoring our social responsibilities and fostering young people!
And all our charitable activities – including volunteerism, disaster relief and social giving – are to be part of the Caring Hands program.
