Siemens A&D department took part in the 9th International exhibition of equipment, devices and tools for metal-working industry – "Metal Working 2006", which was held from May 23 to May 27 in the expocenter at Krasnopresnenskaya embankment in Moscow.
At the exhibition were presented new Siemens SOLUTION LINE in the sphere of metal working – CNC systems, drives, motors, software for metal working machines and automated lines.
CNC system SINUMERIK 802D SL controls 5 axes (4 axes and spindle or 3 axes + spindle and second spindle for the second tool).
CNC system SINUMERIK 840D SL is used in the different spheres of industry and in different technologies. It can control a maximum of 31 axes/spindles, 10 channels, 10 operating mode groups.
CNC system SINUMERIK 840Di SL is a CNC system, built on the basis of industrial computer.
New SINAMICS drive is used with SOLUTION LINE CNC systems. DRIVECLiQ interface is used for the communication with the drive. SINAMICS converters are intended for working with asynchronous, synchronous, line and tork (circular) motors, while drive should meet strict requirements to dynamic behaviour and accuracy.
