On October 2, 2006 has been signed a cooperation agreement between
Gomel State Technical University and Siemens AG Representative Office
in the Republic of Belarus. Mr. Sarelo Stanislav Bronislavovich,
Rector of GSTU, and Mr. Andreas Berns, the Head of Siemens
Representative Office in the Republic of Belarus, have signed the document.
Both sides announced about their readiness to support, develop and deepen
the cooperation, based on the principles of independence and mutual benefit.
The cooperation will be carried out in the following spheres:
- realization of joint researches;
- participation in scientific meetings, symposia, conferences;
- exchange of scientific materials, publications and information;
- participation in the organization of study process.
Siemens is strategically oriented on the application and use of innovative
solutions and technologies: 70% of the products produced today only 3
years ago existed as ideas. Therefore Siemens cooperation with
Gomel State
Technical University seems to be natural.
