An International conference on problems of theoretical engineering took place

On October 19-20 at Sukhoy Gomel State Technical Univeristy took place an
International scientific-technical conference "Modern problems of theoretical
engineering". Scientific sections of the conference:
- Dynamics, durability and reliability of machinery
- Materials science and material processing technology
- Simulation of processes, automation of machinery designing and projection
- Instruments and systems of automatic control
- Aerohydrodynamics; pneumatic and hydraulic systems of machinery and devices
Plenary report "New Siemens solutions in metal processing" was presented
by the head of Siemens A&D MC MT in the Republic of Belarus Yury Vetrov.
The report consisted of following topics:
- Modern state of world’s machine-tool construction
- Siemens solutions for machine designing
- Automation components for machines and automated lines (CNC-systems
Sinumerik, Simodrive, Sinamics)
- Siemens solutions for automatic registration and analysis of machine condition and load during the production process
- Sinutrain solution for personnel training in machine operation.
The support of Belarusian machine-tool building and training of highly
qualified specialists on the basis of its innovative solutions – is one of the
strategic targets of Siemens AG.
